Comparison of total corneal power measurements obtained with different devices after myopic keratorefractive surgery

AIM: To analyze the differences, agreements, and correlation among total corneal power parameters generated by different instruments after myopic keratorefractive surgery. METHODS: The prospective cross-sectional study included patients who underwent surgery received measurements of 3mo Automated keratometer was used for measurement simulated keratometry (SimK), swept-source optical coherence tomography (SS-OCT) based biometer (TK), anterior segment-OCT real (RK), Scheimpflug true net (TNP), refractive (TCRP) equivalent K-readings (EKR). differences these were analyzed, agreements between SimK other investigated. RESULTS: A 70 eyes included. evaluated as follows: 38.32±1.93 D, TK 37.54±2.12 RK 36.64±2.09 TNP 36.56±1.97 TCRP 36.70±2.01 EKR 37.55±2.00 D. Pairwise comparison showed that there significant (P<0.001) all except EKR, TNP, (P=1.000, 1.000, respectively). limits agreement TK, RK, TCPR, 1.08, 1.43, 1.48, 1.73 respectively. All good with SimK, coefficients 0.995, 0.994, 0.983, 0.982, 0.975. CONCLUSION: Among surgery, value is largest, followed TCRP, being smallest. may be attributable to calculation principles. Correct understanding evaluation can provide a theoretical basis taking advantage improve accuracy intraocular lens
